Sircilla: Woman and her 6-year-old son die, food poisoning suspected

Sircilla: A woman and her six-year-old son died on Sunday night allegedly due to food poisoning. According to the police, Kasula Pushpalatha (35) of Rudrang and her son Nihal (6) ate chapatis for dinner on Friday night. Around midnight, both complained of vomiting and diarrhoea following which they were rushed to a private hospital in Korutla. They were later shifted to a hospital in Karimnagar for better treatment. Pushpalatha died during treatment on Sunday night. As his condition became critical, Nihal was shifted to Warangal MGM Hospital where he died during treatment on Monday morning.
