Government School buildings in Odisha to adopt new colour code

Bhubaneswar: The Government School buildings in Odisha have been instructed to adopt new colour code. An official letter sent to all the Collectors of the State issued by the Odisha School Education Programme Authority in this context on Wednesday.
The official letter reads, “In inviting a reference to the letter under reference on the captioned subject, it is to state that, Govt. has been pleased to approve new colour code. The copy of the colour code is enclosed herewith for your ready reference.
In this context, it is requested to issue suitable instructions to concerned field functionaries for adoption of the approved colour code in all Govt. Schools, including PM SHRI schools, during construction, repair & renovation works. This order would be in supersession of all previous instructions related to colour code of school buildings.”
It has been learnt that the colour code of the government schools in Odisha will have different shades of orange as instructed in the letter. It will be applicable during construction, repair and renovation of the schools.
