Budget that will lead every section towards prosperity: MP Brijmohan

Raipur. Raipur MP Brijmohan Agarwal has described the Chhattisgarh Budget 2025-26 as a milestone in the direction of historic and all-round development of the state in its silver jubilee year. He described the golden budget presented by Finance Minister OP Choudhary under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai as realizing the vision of developed Chhattisgarh. He said that,

✅ Rs 750 crore for infrastructure development in urban bodies – Urban development will get momentum in the entire state including the capital. ✅ Rs 744 crore for Amrit Mission Drinking Water Scheme – Availability of clean drinking water will be ensured.

✅ Rs 875 crore for Housing Scheme: A big step towards providing pucca houses to poor and needy families.

✅ Target to make 8 lakh women Lakhpati Didi – Self-employment and women empowerment will be promoted.

✅ Promotion of organic farming and nano ureaA scheme with far-reaching effects in the interest of farmers.

He said that in this budget, priority has been given to the interests of youth, farmers, women, poor and every section. Raipur in particular has got many important gifts, which will give new impetus to the development of the capital.

✅ Raipur-Durg Metro Survey – Provision of Rs 5 crore, which will strengthen the modern transport system in the capital region.

✅ National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Naya Raipur – Budget of Rs 50 crore, which will provide world-class education in fashion designing and technology to the youth of the state.

✅ 100-bed modern hospital in Sarona, Raipur – This is an important step towards providing better health facilities to the residents of the capital.

✅ Budgetary provision for e-bus service Rs 10 crore, sewerage treatment plant Rs 20 crore, science city Rs 37 crore and library Rs 20 crore in Nava Raipur, which will be helpful in the overall development of the city.

✅ Development of Educity in 100 acres – It will set new standards in the field of higher education and research in the state.

✅ Construction of Medicity in 100 acres – This project will provide national and international level medical facilities, which will provide advanced health services to the people of the state.

✅ Plug & Play Office Space with Rs 156 crore – Commercial office complex will be built in Nava Raipur to provide state-of-the-art infrastructure to startups and business organizations.

✅ ICCC upgradation in Nava Raipur with Rs 40 crore – Traffic, security and emergency services in cities will get high-tech solutions.

✅ Establishment of ART department in Mekahara – This is an important step for advanced treatment of serious diseases.

✅ Journalist Samman amount increased from Rs 10 thousand to Rs 20 thousand – Introducing the government’s sensitivity towards journalists.
