CG BREAKING: FIR filed against Congress councilor

Bhilai. A case has been registered against Congress councillor S Venkat Ramana, MIC member (minister) of Bhilai 3 Charoda Municipal Corporation in Purani Bhilai police station. Ramana is accused of bullying and forcing her to vacate the house and threatening to kill her. Purani Bhilai police said that Sanjana wife Shambhunath Dhol (30 years), resident of Panchsheel Nagar Charoda, has filed a report against councillor S Venkat Ramana. She told the police that they live on rent in the house of an acquaintance of the councillor. The councillor has been coming to her house for the last three-four days and asking her to vacate the house. If she does not vacate the house, he is threatening to kill her and abusing her.

Sanjana says that S Venkat Ramana is bullying her by being a councillor. Seeing his daily quarrels, she had sent her husband Shambhunath to talk to the councillor. Councilor Ramana again reached Shambhunath’s house at 10 am on 17 February and started threatening to vacate the house. Shambhunath was not at home at that time. After this, the councilor started abusing the family members and left from there. When Shambhunath returned home from work in the afternoon, Sanjana told him the whole thing. After this, both husband and wife reached the police station and registered a case against the councilor.

Ramana reached Shambhunath’s house at 10 am on 17 February. He threatened them to vacate the house in two days. If the house is not vacated, he will get the bulldozer run on the house at night when everyone will be sleeping. Before Sanjana’s complaint, councilor S. Venkat Ramana had registered a case against Shambhunath and four others in Purani Bhilai police station for abusing and beating him. After the case was registered, when the councilor went to show his dominance again, the people of the house registered a crime against him too.
