Current spread in the field, two villagers died
Raigarh. Two villagers died due to electric shock while spraying medicine in the field in Rengalpali village of Pusaur block of the district. Pusaur police is investigating the matter.
According to the information received, Sitaram Sidar and Subhash Nishad were spraying medicine in their fields at around 10 am on Saturday morning in Rengalpali village under Pusaur block. During this, when one person fell, another person went to see him, meanwhile he also got electrocuted. Villagers told that the wire of the bore pump connection broke and fell in the field, due to which this accident happened. Both were immediately taken to Raigarh Medical College Hospital, where the doctors present on the spot declared both dead in the initial investigation. The case is being investigated by Pusaur police.
