Traffic was made smooth at Rajiv Gandhi Chowk

Raipur. Under the leadership of the Chief Minister of the state Vishnudev Sai and guidance of Deputy Chief Minister Urban Administration and Development Department Arun Saw, as per the intention of the Urban Administration and Development Department of the State Government, under the guidance of Raipur District Administration, Municipal Corporation Raipur in collaboration with District Police Administration, Traffic Police, as per the orders of Raipur District Collector and Municipal Corporation Administrator Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh and as per the instructions of Municipal Corporation Commissioner Avinash Mishra and Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Lal Umed Singh, the work of streamlining the various major intersections of the capital city Raipur Municipal Corporation area to provide smooth and well-organized traffic to the citizens is continuously progressing at a fast pace.
In this work, through the Municipal Corporation Zone 4 Public Works Department, under the guidance of Zone 4 Zone Commissioner Arun Dhruv, Executive Engineer Shekhar Singh, Assistant Engineer Deepak Devangan, Deputy Engineer Kundan Sahu, with the continuous efforts of Zone 4, Rajiv Gandhi Chowk (Old Fire Brigade Office Chowk) has been widened by about 3 meters to make the traffic smooth and orderly and to relieve the citizens from the problem of frequent traffic jams there, by removing the old unused island in the Chowk to provide smooth traffic for public convenience in public interest.
With this, the traffic towards the left turn of Rajiv Gandhi Chowk has become very smooth and orderly and the citizens have got relief from the problem of frequent traffic jams here earlier. On the instructions of the Municipal Corporation Commissioner, the Zone Commissioners of the concerned area are continuously monitoring the work of making the traffic smooth and orderly as per practical requirements in various squares and intersections along with the Executive Engineers.
