On the first day of the cultural evening of Mavli fair, a mesmerizing performance of local folk dance troupes was seen

Narayanpur. Colourful programs will be presented every day in Mata Mawali Mela. On the first day of the fair, on 19 February, a colourful program was presented by the local folk dance groups. Various traditional dances like Mandri dance, Gidi dance were performed by the folk dance groups.

In the folk dance, young men and women from various villages of the district mesmerized the audience by presenting dances in traditional costumes and makeup with full rhythm and beat. The local dance groups were given honorarium by the district administration. In the same sequence, on 20 February, the performance of Bastar Sanskriti Group Lok Rang Siddharth Mahajan will be given.

On this occasion, Municipal Chairman Indraprasad Baghel, Gautam S Golchha, Collector Pratishtha Mamgain, CEO District Panchayat Aakansha Shiksha Khalkho, Additional Collector Birendra Bahadur Panchbhai, public representatives and various officers and employees of the administration, besides other dignitaries were present.
