Woman hacked to death by sword attack in Cuttack of Odisha

Cuttack: In a shocking incident, a woman was killed in a brutal sword attack in Cuttack of Odisha on Friday. The incident took place in the slum near the Water tank (Pani Tanki area) in Cuttack city.

As per reports, a woman was allegedly attacked with swords in the slum near Pani Tanki (Water tank) in the Potapokhari area of Cuttack city on Friday.

After getting information police personnel from the CRRI Police Station rushed to the spot and initiated investigation.

Meanwhile the woman was rescued and rushed to the SCB Medical College and hospital in Cuttack. However, the doctors there declared that the woman was ‘received dead’. It was informed by the IIC of the Police Station.

Further investigation of the case is underway.
