Raigarh. Collector Kartikeya Goyal along with Superintendent of Police Divyang Patel and CEO District Panchayat Jitendra Yadav took stock of the preparations for the urban body and panchayat elections in Kharsia. Collector Mr. Goyal inspected the strong room along with the officials. Here he observed the EVM machines commissioned for the urban body elections. Along with this, he also took stock of the barricading, security arrangements and CCTV in the strong room.

Collector Goyal took information about the distribution of polling material, vehicles for the polling parties, the arrangement for the movement of employees and security forces, the entry of polling agents, preparations for counting of votes. Collector Goyal said that all the preparations should be completed on time as per the guidelines of the State Election Commission.

Collector Goyal also inspected the strong room of the Panchayat elections. Superintendent of Police Divyang Patel took information regarding the preparations of security arrangements in the strong room and gave necessary guidelines. During this, Returning Officer and SDM Dr. Priyanka Verma, Tehsildar Lomas Miri and other officers and employees were present.
