3 CRPF jawans injured, IED blast in Dantewada
Dantewada. The anti-naxal operation in Chhattisgarh has now started breaking the back of the Naxalites. The failures in the encounter have made the Maoists nervous. Therefore, the Naxalites are continuously planting IEDs to harm the soldiers. Today, 3 CRPF soldiers were injured in an IED blast in the Purngel forest. This has been confirmed by Bastar Range IG P Sundarraj. The injured soldiers have been brought to Raipur for treatment.
According to the information, the soldiers of CRPF 231 battalion along with the joint team had gone out on search on Monday morning. The Naxalites today carried out an IED blast in the forests of Purngel village under Kirandul police station area. One soldier was badly injured due to which. Also, two more soldiers have suffered minor injuries. The injured soldier Pramod Kumar’s leg has been badly injured. Intensive patrolling and searching is going on in the area. The injured soldiers have been airlifted to Raipur for better treatment.
