Eye donation completed after the death of Subhash Chand Lunia
Rajnandgaon. After the demise of Mr. Subhash Chand Luniya, a member of the city’s prestigious Luniya family, resident of Halwai Line, two blind people will get eyesight by donating his eyes by the family. After the death of Subhash Chand Luniya, his son Rishabh Luniya contacted the members of Navdrishti Foundation Rajnandgaon and expressed his intention to donate eyes. The eye donation was done with the consent of Mrs. Seema Luniya (wife), Uttamchand Luniya (elder brother), Premchand Luniya (elder brother), Kiran Baid (elder sister), Shreyansh Luniya (son) and the entire family.
Subhash Chand Luniya’s grandson Pratik Luniya and nephew Ramesh Luniya cooperated for the eye donation. Dr. Geetanjali Sharma, Dr. Shubhangi and eye assistant officer Sanjeev Yadav from Rajnandgaon Medical College team completed the eye donation. Tarun Aadhatiya, Fanendra Jain, Manish Sahinta, Shailesh Ganatra and Divya Ben Nagdia, Litesh Raja from Nav Drishti Foundation were present at the time of eye donation and helped in completing the eye donation process. Uttamchand Luniya said that today after his brother’s death, his eyes will give eyesight to two people and his family is sad about the demise of Subhash Chand Luniya but the younger brother will always inspire the society and us.
Shailesh Ganatra said that Subhash Chand Luniya was a reputed businessman of the society, hence eye donation by the Luniya family will speed up the eye donation process and awareness towards eye donation will increase in the society and our organization’s campaign will gain momentum and the morale of our organization’s members will increase.
