Demonstration of EVM machines at polling stations in Raipur for the third consecutive day

Raipur. In accordance with the guidelines of Chhattisgarh State Election Commission and Raipur District Election Office, immediately after receiving training on demonstration of EVM machines from master trainers two days ago by the Zone Commissioners of Municipal Corporation Raipur, as per the orders of Raipur District Collector and Municipal Corporation Administrator Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh and as per the instructions of Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra, the demonstration of EVM machines was continued in the polling booths of 70 wards of all 10 zones for the third consecutive day today as per the instructions. Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra is the nodal officer for this work and Municipal Corporation Deputy Commissioner Dr. Anjali Sharma is the assistant nodal officer appointed by Raipur District Election Officer. All the Zone Commissioners of Raipur Municipal Corporation have been given the administrative responsibility of demonstrating EVM machines in the polling booths of all the wards in their respective zone areas. As per the instructions, all the Zone Commissioners have given the administrative responsibility to the zone officers to demonstrate EVM machines in the wards. EVM machines are being demonstrated in polling booths by the zone officers in all the wards of all zones under Raipur Municipal Corporation.

Voters are reaching all polling booths in large numbers and getting their queries about EVM machines cleared. The zone officers are making the voters aware of the entire process related to voting through EVM machines as per the instructions of Chhattisgarh State Election Commission and Raipur District Election Office (local elections). Today on Monday, the team of Zone 4 demonstrated EVM machines in Civil Line Ward, Ambedkar Mangal Bhawan Civil Line and all the polling stations of Kushalpur Pre Madhyamik School under Zone 5 of Water Resources Department Office Civil Line, all the polling stations of Khamhardih School and Vijay Nagar School in Zone 9, including polling stations of wards under all 10 zones of Raipur Municipal Corporation. The corporation officials resolved the queries related to EVM machines of voters who reached all the polling stations in large numbers. The process of demonstration of EVM machines in polling stations and making voters aware of the simple procedures of voting with EVM machines continued for the third consecutive day in the polling stations of all 70 wards of Raipur Municipal Corporation. It is noteworthy here that the date of voting for the Urban Body Elections 2025 has been fixed by the Chhattisgarh State Election Commission on 11 February 2025 from 8 am to 5 pm, while the counting of votes will be done on 15 February 2025.
