Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar to be conferred with BCCI lifetime achievement award
Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar will be conferred with BCCI lifetime achievement award. The former Indian batter will be receiving this award at the Board’s annual gala in Mumbai tomorrow.
Sachin (51) has played 664 international matches for India and has the record of most test and ODI runs in the history of the game.
He has played 200 Test matches and 463 ODIs. Sachin Tendulkar who is fondly known as ‘Master Blaster’ has scored 18,426 ODI runs along with 15,921 Test runs. He scored 51 centuries in his test career and 49 centuries in the ODI format. The legendary batter featured in a single T20I match in his career.
The CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award, which is the most prestigious award from BCCI had been conferred to former India head coach Ravi Shastri and wicket-keeping legend Farokh Engineer in 2023. Sachin Tendulkar will be receiving C K Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award for 2024.
