29 Maoists surrendered in Narayanpur

Narayanpur. A big news is coming from the Naxal-affected district, where for the first time 29 Maoists of Kutul Area Committee have surrendered without laying down arms. The mind of the Naxalites is changing due to the government’s rehabilitation policy and the ongoing development work. This surrender is being considered a major success of the Naxal eradication campaign.
This historic surrender has taken place under the Maad Bachao campaign going on in Narayanpur district. Among them, 22 men and 7 women have returned to the mainstream, fed up with the cruel ideology and internal differences of the Maoist organization. Those who surrendered include Maoists working in positions like Jantana Sarkar, Militia, CNM, Agriculture Branch Member, and Panchayat Government President.
Let us tell you that the rapid development work being done in Narayanpur and Abujhmad, the roads being built and the increasing government schemes have inspired the Maoists to return to the mainstream. Apart from this, the local cadre was also disappointed with the increasing factionalism within the organization and the discrimination being done by outside Maoists.
