A young man was arrested with a large quantity of alcohol near the old liquor shop

Raipur: Today, information was received from an informer that a young man wearing a black check shirt and black flowered petticoat was selling a large quantity of liquor in a green sack near the old liquor shop in Labhandi. Upon receiving the information, the accused was arrested after being surrounded and the accused was asked his name. On being asked the name of the arrested youth, he told his name as Suresh Baghel, son of Khuman Baghel, aged 25 years, resident of Suraj Nagar, Labhandi. 18 quarters of Unique Desi Liquor Masala and 19 quarters of Goa Special Whiskey, total 6.660 liters, worth Rs. 4450 and the sale amount of Rs. 400, total amount of Rs. 4850 were seized from the possession of the accused. The act of the accused was found to be under Section 34(2) of the Excise Act. A case under the Sadar section was registered against the accused and the accused was sent to judicial remand. Investigation is going on in the case.
