Raipur Congress councilor candidates announced… Information is being received on phone

Raipur: To avoid the anger of disgruntled workers, Congress did not release the list of ward candidates for Raipur Municipal Corporation. The candidates have been decided, and they have been verbally informed and asked to submit the form. Outgoing Mayor Ejaz Dhebar has also filed his nomination on Monday.

The party has made Dhebar a candidate from Bhagwati Charan Shukla ward, but he officially filed his nomination before the announcement. Many other councilor candidates have filed their nominations.

It was told that the state election committee has approved the list of all 70 ward candidates of Raipur late at night. But, it has not been officially released. Those whose names have been decided have been informed by phone and asked to file their nominations. Tuesday is the last day for filing nominations.

The workers were standing in Rajiv Bhawan till morning and were expressing their anger from time to time. Once in the elections also, there was vandalism after the announcement of tickets. A similar apprehension is being seen this time too. Party workers are openly accusing senior leaders of selling tickets. A former MLA said in ‘Chhattisgarh’ Charcha that he will make a big bang after the announcement of the ticket. His objection was about an expelled leader being made the candidate.

It is being said that the former MLA can make a big disclosure regarding the ticket. Many leaders are expressing their displeasure through social media. The controversy in Congress may increase in the coming days.
