Notice to Haryana in Yamuna cleaning case

Delhi. The issue of cleaning Yamuna is getting heated in the Delhi assembly elections. Now Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has accused the BJP government of Haryana of poisoning the water of Yamuna.

Also, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has written a letter to the Election Commission claiming an increase in ammonia in the water supplied to Delhi. Sources say that the Election Commission sought a reply from Haryana on this letter of the Delhi government. At the same time, Haryana CM has retaliated on Kejriwal’s statement. He said that people are going to send Kejriwal away now.

Chief Minister Atishi alleged that Haryana is releasing water with excessive ammonia in Yamuna. Due to this, 3 big water treatment plants of Delhi, Wazirabad, Chandrawal and Okhla plants are on the verge of closure. Atishi said that due to the increase in the amount of ammonia in Yamuna, 30 percent of the people will not be able to get water. He has blamed the Haryana government and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for this. Calling it an attempt to influence the election, Atishi has said that she has written a letter to the Election Commission and has also sought a meeting time.
