Youth arrested for selling liquor near Railway Over Bridge

Raipur. A youth has been arrested for selling liquor near Railway Over Bridge. The police team had received information from an informer that a person was carrying illegal liquor for sale in Ganga Nagar Khamtarai Raipur near Railway Over Bridge.

On raiding the place mentioned by the informer, a person was found who had kept liquor in a sack. On asking his name and address, he told his name as Kamlesh Banjare father Motilal Banjare age 38 years resident of Satnami Para Khamtarai Police Station Khamtarai District Raipur. 37 quarters of Desi Plain liquor worth Rs. 4070/- was seized from the possession of the accused and a crime number 49/25 Section 34 (2) Excise Act was registered at Police Station Khamtarai and after taking action, the accused was sent on judicial remand.
