Police stopped a young man and woman riding a scooty, and found marijuana during search
Bilaspur. The police have arrested a young woman and a young man who had come to supply ganja. Both of them had brought ganja from the railway station and were going to sell it in the Sarkanda area. Meanwhile, the police surrounded them and caught them. Two kg 600 grams of ganja was recovered from them. Action has been taken against both of them under the NDPS Act. The kingpin of this case is being searched. Sarkanda police station in-charge Nilesh Pandey said that information was being received continuously about the supply of ganja in the area. After informing SP Rajnesh Singh about this, he asked the soldiers to take action by deploying informers.
Meanwhile, the staff got the news that the young man and the young woman had gone out to supply ganja on a scooty. After which the team members started surrounding them. The police personnel surrounded them near Lingiyadih Nursery. Then the young man and woman were coming towards Sarkanda on a scooty from Dayalband. They were stopped and questioned. Then they started giving evasive answers. After which the scooty’s trunk was searched, in which 2 kg 600 grams of ganja was found. Police arrested them and took them to the police station. During interrogation, it was found that Chandraprabha Sidar (21) lives in Baradwar of Sakti district. Anish Gupta, a resident of Tikrapara Mannu Chowk, lives there. Action has been taken against them under the NDPS Act.
In the police interrogation, the girl and the boy were giving evasive answers at first. On strict interrogation, they told that Vinod Kumar, a resident of Ganiyari of Kota area, had given them ganja to sell. They do not know from where he brought the ganja. After Vinod’s name came up, the police started searching for him. At present, he is absconding. The police is gathering information about his hideouts and conducting raids.
