Body elections, training given in the office of State Election Commission Raipur
Raipur. The State Election Commission successfully completed the state level training of operation of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) for the successful conduct of the upcoming general elections of municipalities 2025. This training program was organized at the State Election Commission office located at Nava Raipur, in which Deputy District Election Officers and Master Trainers of all the districts participated. During this, detailed information was given about the operation of EVMs, usage process, and solution of possible technical problems.
All the officers present in this training organized under the direction of State Election Commissioner Ajay Singh and guidance of Secretary Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure were told that the election process can be made transparent and fair by smooth operation of EVMs. Master trainers were entrusted with the responsibility of training other officers at the district level. This training program organized today will help in making the upcoming elections smooth and organized. On this occasion, Deputy Secretary of the Commission Dr. Neha Kapoor, Dr. Anupriya Mishra and Shri Alok Kumar Srivastava were present. Master Trainers Shri Rakesh Dedhgave and Shri SK Patel gave training to all the officers.
State Election Commission officials said that the main objective of the training is to explain all aspects of EVM operation and ensure resolution of possible challenges. The officials were trained on the technical nuances of the voting process as well as ways to maintain transparency and fairness in the election process. The officials were given detailed information about the infrastructure of EVMs, their operating method, the functions of the ballot unit and the control unit. The master trainer explained the measures for quick resolution of technical or procedural problems faced during EVMs. The officials were trained to ensure that the election process is completely fair and transparent.
State Election Commission officials said during the training, correct and smooth operation of EVMs will not only simplify and speed up the election process, but it will also strengthen the confidence of voters. Master trainers have been given the responsibility to organize training programs in their districts and provide complete information to the employees.
