HDFC AMC shares rise on third quarter profit
Delhi. Shares of HDFC Asset Management Company saw a jump on Wednesday, January 15. This happened after the company published its quarterly results on January 14. Earnings season is bringing some interesting figures as companies are announcing the status of their quarterly performance. One of the big names to announce its quarterly results for the three months of the financial year ended December was HDFC Asset Management Company or AMC.
According to its consolidated financial results, the company earned a total profit after tax of Rs 641.36 crore, the company said in an exchange filing. This is more than the profit after tax recorded in the previous quarter i.e. the second quarter of FY 2025 or the second quarter of the current financial year. In the second quarter, the company earned a profit of Rs 576.61.
In the same quarter of the previous fiscal, the AMC had posted a profit of Rs 487.92 crore. When we look at the revenue side, the company posted a total revenue of Rs 1,027.72 crore, which is lower than Rs 1,058.19 crore of the previous quarter, however, higher than Rs 814.18 crore of the previous cycle (Q3FY24). This means that the total income grew by 29.97 per cent year-on-year.
