Son, daughter-in-law and grandson are torturing her, widow reached police station

Janjgir. After a few years of partition, the son attacked his widow mother with a stick with the intention of killing her, saying that he was given less share. After the incident, the police have registered an FIR against the son, daughter-in-law and grandson. The case is of Dongakohraud under Pamgarh police station.

According to the police, Parasram Bhardwaj, husband of Melan Bai Bhardwaj, resident of Dongakohraud, died a few years ago. Parasram had divided his property before his death. After the property division, Parasram’s elder son Govind Bhardwaj started living with his wife and children by building a separate house on his share of land.

On January 8, Melan Bai was sitting in the courtyard of the house, meanwhile Govind started abusing his mother saying that he was given less land in the partition. Melan Bai started opposing this, then Govind’s wife Seema Bhardwaj and his son Abhishek Bhardwaj also reached there and started beating them with sticks. Hearing the sound of the fight, people from the nearby area reached the spot and intervened. After the incident, the victim reached the women’s police station and complained about it to the police. On the report of the victim mother, the police have registered an FIR under the sections of BNS against the accused son, daughter-in-law and grandson.
