Women of Mahtari Vandan Yojana received the gift of “Vishnu ki Pati”

Mahasamund. On the occasion of completion of one year of Chhattisgarh government’s tenure, a conference of beneficiaries of Mahtari Vandan Yojana was organized by the Women and Child Development Department at Shankaracharya Bhawan. MLA Mahasamund Yogeshwar Raju Sinha attended the program as the chief guest.

Chief guest MLA Sinha addressed all the beneficiaries wishing them a Happy New Year and said that the prosperity of mothers and sisters is the prosperity of Chhattisgarh Mahtari. Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, more than 70 lakh mothers and sisters are being given financial assistance every month. This amount is playing an important role in their self-reliant life and better future. He told that many women are using the amount received from this scheme on family needs, children’s education and health. At the same time, many beneficiary women are becoming self-reliant by starting small businesses with this amount. To further strengthen this initiative, the state government has decided to provide loans up to Rs 25,000 under the Mahtari Shakti Loan Scheme. During this, MLA Yogeshwar Raju Sinha honored the beneficiary women of Mahtari Vandan Yojana, Smt. Sita Kiran Pradhan, Kiran Netam, Heera Yadav, Bhavna Yadav, Khelna Kuldeep, Mamta Tiwari, Tukeshwari Sahu, Yasmin Dhruv, Aarti Prajapati, Vinita Patel and other women by presenting them shawls and coconuts. These beneficiaries have opened accounts for their daughters under Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana from the amount of Mahtari Vandan and have laid a new foundation of prosperity for their daughters. On this occasion, MLA Mr. Sinha congratulated and wished the women and appealed to them to take advantage of the public welfare schemes of the government. He gave information regarding various development works in Mahasamund district. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Vishnudev Sai, public representatives, government and administration are together giving a new direction to development. He told about the works of Sikaser reservoir and Peedhi reservoir. Similarly, he said that the work of Gaurav Path and Mahasamund Tumgaon Road in Mahasamund will also start rapidly.

In the program, former Municipal Council President Anita Raote said that women always remain in the forefront in terms of participation in development. Today I congratulate everyone on the occasion of completion of one year. She said that apart from Mahtari Vandan Yojana, the government is doing works like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana on priority. Certainly, our state will become a developed state by 2047.

Giving information about Mahtari Vandan Yojana, Collector Vinay Kumar Langeh said that 3 lakh 23 thousand 215 eligible beneficiary women are being benefited in the district. As per the intention of the government, the benefits of other schemes are also being given to the eligible beneficiaries on priority. He said that under the Mahtari Shakti Loan Scheme, women will also be given a loan of Rs 25 thousand.

In the conference, the honored women including Sita, Kiran, Hira, Bhavna also opened accounts under Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana from the amount received from Mahtari Vandan Yojana. The women said that Sukanya Samriddhi is a small saving to make their daughters’ bright future bright. Which will help in the expenses incurred for the education and marriage of daughters. The women said that Mahtari Vandan Yojana is helping us a lot in making our daughters’ bright future bright. For this precious gift, all the women praised the good governance of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and thanked him. In the program, “Vishnu Ki Pati” was read and distributed. The beneficiary women expressed their happiness on receiving “Vishnu Ki Pati” and called it a precious gift from the Chief Minister.
