The Deputy CM further said that, organic farming will be given importance in the new agricultural policy. The government will make arrangements to send the produce of farmers to foreign markets. Dedicated cargo flights should be used for this. The state government is thus planning to bring a new agricultural policy soon.
Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singhdeo gave this information while participating as the Chief Guest in an Agricultural workshop.
He also said that people’s health is deteriorating due to excessive use of chemical fertilizers while growing crops.
