CBI lays hands on a letter to IAS Bishnupada Sethi in tender fixing case
Bhubaneswar: IAS Bishnupada Sethi is falling into the quicksand in the Bridge and Roof company scandal. Recently, the CBI has laid its hand on a letter of East Coast GMC B.K.Singh.
According to sources, on December 4, a letter was written to the Personal Secretary of IAS Bishnupada Sethi, the Principal Secretary of department of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
The letter was written to the personal secretary of the principal secretary of the department of Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes Development on December 4. In the letter, BK Singh and Bridge and Roof Company GGM Chanchal Mukherjee had asked to meet IAS Bishnupada Sethi on December 5. After two days, on December 7, in front of Mayfair hotel in Bhubaneswar, four were arrested with Rs 10 lakh hard cash.
For tender fixing, CBI took in remand the GGM Chanchal Mukherjee of Bridge and Roof Company, MD Debadutta Mahapatra of Aditya Infra and Penta A Studio Director Santosh Maharana. They were enquired in two phases. In the first phase three days and in second phase five days enquiry went on. Following the end of the second phase enquiry, the three will be detained for 14 more days for departmental enquiry.
