Himachal: Preparations for the program organized to mark the completion of two years were reviewed

Himachal Pradesh: There should be no shortage in celebrating the completion of the second year of the Congress government and highlighting the achievements and vision of the government, said Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu while virtually addressing the district officials during a meeting in Bilaspur today. He issued necessary guidelines to the Bilaspur administration to ensure smooth and successful conduct of the event to be held on December 11. Earlier, Bilaspur Deputy Commissioner Abid Hussain Sadiq convened a meeting to review the preparations for the function and issued necessary guidelines. He said the event is important as it will showcase the achievements of the state government and will also be a testimony to the coordination efforts and efficiency of the district administration. He urged all the departments to complete their assigned tasks within the stipulated time and contribute to the success of the event. Sadiq said it is a matter of pride for Hamirpur that the government has decided to host the event in the district. He also fixed the duty of heads of various departments to ensure successful event. He suggested that the police should decide on alternate routes to maintain smooth traffic during the event and also stressed on security and crowd management plans. He said cleanliness, seating arrangements, stage arrangements, drinking water supply, electricity, fire services, availability of cranes and internet connectivity should be provided at the event venue. He directed the health department officials to deploy ambulances and medical teams at the event venue and also conduct mock drills. Sadiq said that apart from exhibitions, cultural activities and folk music performances will also be organised to entertain the people and create a festive atmosphere. SP Sandeep Dhawal, Additional Deputy Commissioner Nidhi Patel, SDM Gaurav Chaudhary and Assistant Commissioner Narendra Ahluwalia attended the meeting.
