Husband jumped into the well to save his wife when she could not swim

Khammam: A quarrel between husband and wife claimed the lives of both. A husband jumped into a well without thinking that his wife had jumped into the well. He drowned because he could not swim. A friend who jumped into the well to save him also drowned and died. This tragic incident took place in Nelakondapally mandal of Khammam district.

Nagaraju and Ramanamma are a couple from Appalanarasimhapuram village in Nelakondapalli mandal of Khammam district. A fight broke out between husband and wife on Sunday night. Ramanamma, who was hurt by the quarrel, left the house crying, ‘I’m going to live again. Nagaraju’s wife, who was already angry, did not stop. After a while, Nagaraj looked around for his wife. But nowhere to be found. He was worried that he might have jumped into the well. As there was an agricultural well near their house, he went there with the suspicion that he might have jumped into it. He took his friend Yandrati Joji with him when he went.
