CG: Policemen who did excellent work were encouraged in the crime meeting

Raigarh. Raigarh. Superintendent of Police Divyang Kumar Patel held a meeting of gazetted police officers, police station and outpost in-charges of the district in the police control room. At the beginning of the meeting, the Superintendent of Police honored the policemen who performed excellently in the summons-warrant campaign and did remarkable work in various police stations. During this, Inspector Mohan Bhardwaj (Police Station In-charge Jute Mill) and Inspector Narayan Singh Markam (Police Station In-charge Kapu) were honored with a certificate for serving more warrants than other police stations in the special campaign of summons-warrant.

Sub-Inspector Kusum Kaivart and constable Shivanand Pradhan of Kotrarod police station were also specially honored, who made a remarkable contribution in finding the missing girl of their police station area from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. In the same sequence, constable Bhupesh Rathia of Tamnar police station was awarded for his special contribution in a fraud case and constable Osnik Vishwal of Pusaur police station was awarded for his prompt action in recovering a missing girl from Pusaur area at Raigarh railway station.

After awarding the policemen, the Superintendent of Police started the crime meeting by reviewing the pending cases station-wise. He directed to clear the cases pending for more than six months as soon as possible. The progress of investigation in missing persons, murder, robbery, rape, POCSO, and crimes against women was also reviewed, and instructions were given to all officers to minimize the pendency of pending cases by the end of the year. Station in-charges were instructed to keep the beat system of their areas updated, regularly check suspicious persons and run awareness programs through beats.

In the meeting, the Superintendent of Police instructed the station in-charges to spend more time in the field and emphasize on visual policing. He stressed on maintaining discipline among the employees, behaving cordially with the general public and ensuring the influence of police on people with criminal tendencies. The Superintendent of Police also gave instructions to run special campaigns to take action against illegal gambling, liquor, junk and other banned activities. Apart from this, instructions were also given to confiscate vehicles seized under the Excise Act and Narcotics Act. Additional SP Akash Markam, DSP Akhilesh Kaushik, SDOP Kharsia Prabhat Patel, SDOP Dharamjaygarh Siddhant Tiwari, DSP Ramesh Chandra and all police station/outpost in-charges were present in the crime meeting.
