Maharashtra elections: Prohibition notices issued to 1,032 criminals

Maharashtra: In view of the upcoming assembly elections, sub-divisional police officer Vivekanand Wakhare has appealed that the police administration has completed all preparations for smooth voting at all polling stations and voters should also vote 100 percent. Giving information to the press on this occasion, Wakhare said that the preparation work of the police administration under all police stations of Karjat, Mirajgaon, Shrigonda, Belvandi, Jamkhed and Kharda under Karjat subdivision has been reviewed. To ensure smooth and peaceful voting, preventive notices have been issued to 1,032 criminals with criminal tendencies from all police stations under Karjat subdivision.

The process of action against them is also going on. Police teams have launched a campaign in all areas including sensitive areas through police and reserve force police units in Karjat, Mirajgaon, Shrigonda Belvandi, Jamkhed and Kharda of the subdivision. Citizens should vote fearlessly through this medium and those doing improper work have been warned through this medium. Everyone should follow the model code of conduct as per the rules of the government. While using social media, one should not behave in a way that hurts sentiments. Wakhare said that even if someone tries to do something wrong, he will not be afraid.

Voting is a sacred act and every citizen should exercise his franchise. Currently it is the festival of Diwali, citizens should celebrate the festival with happiness and peace. Caution should be taken while bursting crackers, everyone should behave in such a way that happiness is not wasted. Everyone should protect their valuables and property.
