Shortage of anesthesia specialist will be resolved soon: Health Minister Jaiswal

Raipur. State Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal reached Kasdol under Balodabazar district tour and inspected Shaheed Santram Sahu Smriti Community Health Center Kasdol. He took stock of the hospital’s arrangements. Jaiswal has instructed the Chief Medical and Health Officer to recruit anesthesia specialist from DMF funds to overcome the shortage of anesthesia specialist in the hospital soon.

The Health Minister inspected the facilities available to the patients, OPD, IPD, Nutrition Rehabilitation Center, Dental, Physiotherapy, Pathology Lab, X-Ray Room, Trauma Center, Office, NRC and inquired about the condition of the patients admitted in the ward. He expressed satisfaction over the cleanliness of the hospital and the health facilities available for the patients. The Health Minister instructed the doctors and other staff to take better care of the patients with a service spirit.

It was told that 200 OPDs, 35 IPDs, 55 deliveries every month, 350 checkups per day, 35 dental disease treatments per day and 25 physiotherapy are being done daily in the Community Health Center. A total of 54 officers and employees are posted in the hospital, including 3 specialist doctors and 5 medical officers. Local public representatives and officers and employees of the health department were present during the inspection.
