Woman blackmailed by husband’s friends, threatening to make objectionable video viral
UP. Two friends of her husband have done a shameful act with a woman living in Katghar police station area of Moradabad. According to the woman, her husband works outside the city. The woman told that Pankaj and Rajiv, residents of Raghunath Nagar, Habulganj, Katghar, are friends of her husband. Both of them used to come to her house. Accused Rajiv trapped her in a love trap and had physical relations with her one and a half years ago. After this, Rajiv and Pankaj threatened the woman through video call, took off her clothes and recorded objectionable video on mobile. Both of them raped the woman for several days.
The victim also alleges that both of them blackmailed her by threatening to make obscene video viral and kept taking gold chain and money. When she complained about this at Katghar police station, the police did not listen. Later, fed up, she filed an application in the court. In this case, the court of ACJM First ordered to register an FIR.
On being asked, CO Katghar Ashish Pratap Singh said that on the orders of the court, a case has been registered against the accused Pankaj and Rajiv in Katghar police station under serious sections including rape, threat, IT Act. Action will be taken according to whatever facts come out in the investigation.
