Jalandhar: Police reunited 3 missing children with their families

Jalandhar: Jalandhar Commissionerate Police today traced three minor children who had gone missing during the Shobha Yatra in the city and reunited them with their families. The children belonged to Mohalla Chaayam, Basti Sheikh, near Chitta School, who had gone astray amidst a huge crowd.
The police swung into action immediately and took the children into protective custody. Showing their efficiency, the officers expedited the search for the children’s families and issued a wireless alert to all the nearby police stations. Within two hours the police successfully traced the parents, verified their identity and reunited them with their children safely.
