Raipur South Assembly by-election: 9 flying squads and 12 SSTs formed for monitoring

Raipur: The model code of conduct has come into effect with the announcement of the schedule of by-election for Raipur Nagar (South) Assembly by the Election Commission of India. 19 sector magistrates have been appointed in the entire district to monitor election expenditure under election expenditure monitoring.

Along with this, nine flying squad teams (FST), 12 static monitoring teams (SST) and two video observation teams (VVT) have been formed. Along with these, four static checkpoints have also been set up in different areas by the District Election Officer, Raipur to keep a strict vigil on election expenditure.

These static checkpoints have been set up in Devpuri under Tikrapara police station, Bhatagaon under Purani Basti police station, Agrasen Chowk under Azad Chowk police station and Subhash Stadium under Kotwali police station.
