Una: Four people arrested for possessing heroin

Himachal Pradesh: In two separate incidents, Una Police arrested two persons from Hamirpur and two from Rupnagar (Punjab) last night for possession of Heroin. According to a press release issued by Una District Police, Pradeep Kumar, a resident of Radha Swami Mohalla, Sujanpur Tehsil and Mohit Kumar, a resident of Charot, Sujanpur Tehsil, both hailing from Hamirpur district, were arrested in Badoh village for possession of 1.89 grams of Heroin. During another inspection at Vikasnagar, police recovered 12 grams of Heroin from the possession of Sumit and Yash, residents of Nangal (Rupnagar). According to the press release, separate cases have been registered against the suspects under Sections 21 and 29-61-85 of the NDPS Act.
