Panchkula: 155 feet tall Ravana will be burnt

Chandigarh: A 155-feet tall effigy of Ravana will be burnt during the Grand Dussehra Celebrations in Panchkula. It was originally planned to be 181 feet tall, but its height had to be reduced by 26 feet after it collapsed due to strong winds. This last-minute change did not dampen the excitement around the event, which remains a major highlight of the festival in the region. Despite the challenges of unpredictable weather, artisans worked tirelessly to rebuild the effigy so that it remains an impressive spectacle.
