Phagwara: One person arrested with 9 cartridges
Jalandhar: Police on Monday night arrested a man under Arms Act and seized nine cartridges and a car with registration number Punjab-22S-4348 from his possession. The accused has been identified as Jaspreet Singh, a resident of Khajurala.
Smuggler arrested under NDPS Act
Noormahal: Bilga Khas police have arrested a man for selling narcotic pills. Investigating officer Avtar Lal said that 100 pills (loose) have been recovered from the possession of accused Surinder Singh alias Babu resident Mao Sahib village. A case has been registered against the accused under NDPS Act.
Accused PO of narcotics arrested
Nakodar: Mehatpur police have arrested a proclaimed offender (PO) who was absconding since last year. The accused has been identified as Harjinder Singh alias Shaili resident Dharme Diyan Chhana village. He was wanted in a case of drug smuggling. Noormahal Police has arrested PO Akash of Gumtali village in a theft case.

Noormahal: Noormahal police has arrested three people on suspicion of disturbing the peace of the area. The accused have been identified as Gurdeep Singh, resident of Mohalla Rangran, Noormahal, Sandeep Singh, resident of Suner Kalan village and Surinder Pal Singh, resident of Mehsampur village.
