Private school managers upset with the fine

Raipur. Private schools lagging behind in online entry for the High School and Higher Secondary Main Examination of Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education are being fined. The fine is also being imposed at the rate of thousand rupees per day, due to which the troubled private school operators have written a letter to the Secretary of the Board of Secondary Education and requested for relief.

Chhattisgarh Private School Management Association President Rajiv Gupta and Secretary Moti Jain in a letter written to the Secretary of the Board of Secondary Education said that even in the previous years, no fine was imposed for such delay. Not only this, there was no mention of late fee in the letter issued earlier.

The association also argued that not only private schools but also Atmanand schools and government schools are lagging behind in the entry, but no fine is being imposed on them. In view of the situation, private school operators have demanded relief from late fee and an order to complete the process of online entry.
