Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai today visited the exhibition of Khadi and Village Industries Department organized on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti at Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium premises in the capital Raipur. He made a clay bowl showing his art on the wheel and also bought Kosa saree with tattoo painting prepared by local weavers. On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, many activities including exhibition of Khadi and Village Industries Department, conclusion of Swachhata Hi Seva Pakhwada were organized in Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium today. Chief Minister got TB tested with AI technology
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai got TB tested with AI technology and his report was received within 2 minutes. The Chief Minister was found normal in the test. He praised this special initiative of the district administration and said that more and more people should get TB tested so that it can be effectively prevented.
Chief Minister observed various stalls
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai observed various stalls set up in the Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium premises on the occasion of the conclusion of Swachhata Hi Seva Pakhwada 2024. During the inspection of the stalls of Raipur Municipal Corporation, he inquired about the plastic free sanitary napkins made by the women of Mouli Mata Self Help Group and presented sanitary napkins to the Swachhata Didi present there. During this, the women of Samridhi Mahila Self Help Group presented Dashang, incense sticks and decorated diya made of flowers to the Chief Minister. He told the Chief Minister that these products are made from flowers offered in the temple. The Chief Minister appreciated the work of the women of the group and congratulated and wished them. Chief Minister Shri Sai presented cleanliness kits to the sanitation workers and asked them to work safely.
The Chief Minister visited the stalls of Chhattisgarh Khadi and Village Industries Board, Chhattisgarh Handicraft Development Board, Chhattisgarh Matikala Board and Silk Department under the Khadi and Village Industries Department set up on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. He also bought a silk saree with tattoo painting art prepared by Shri Devanand Devangan, who was awarded the State Award of Saint Bisahu Das Mahant of Bilaigarh. The Chief Minister tried his hand on electric chalk and prepared a clay bowl and presented electric chalks to 5 clay artisans. Shri Gajanand Devangan, who came from Seoni, presented a shawl made of silk to the Chief Minister at the Handloom Division stall. The Chief Minister thanked Shri Devangan for the gift.
It is worth noting that under the Mulberry Resham Bari Yojana, the departments demonstrated re-reeling machine, natural silk multiplication camp, Buniyaad reeling machine. During this, information about mulberry silk, daba and tussar silk was also available.
