Fraud of Rs 1.5 lakh in the name of getting a broom making job

A case of fraud of Rs 1.3 lakh has come to light by luring the women’s self-help group of Sirgitti area to get them work. The victim has complained about it in Chakarbhatha police station. He contacted the women of the women’s self-help group through his agent Manoj Maravi and his wife Dindeshwari Maravi and asked them to do the work of making brooms. For this, he talked about giving training to make brooms through his organization. After the training, he talked about giving raw material to the women to make brooms and giving them wages in return.

Becoming swayed by the fraudsters, the members of the self-help group together gave Rs 1 lakh to Shailendra near the High Court. During this time, women of another group gave thirty thousand rupees. After getting the money, the fraudsters disappeared. Even after about a year, the women did not get work. Neither did they get their money back. The women have complained about this in Chakarbhatta police station. The police have registered a case of fraud on this.
