Diesel and battery stolen from trailer, 2 youths arrested

raigarh news. Pusaur police has solved the case of theft of diesel and 02 batteries from a trailer in village Kathli on August 14 and arrested two accused. The police team led by SHO Rohit Banjare, while continuously investigating, identified the accused involved in the theft with the help of informers. After interrogation and surveillance of suspects in the area, the police succeeded in arresting the accused.

According to the information, on 15/09/2024, a report was lodged by the reporter Gulshan Chhatar at police station Pusaur that 120 liters of diesel and 02 batteries have been stolen from his trailer vehicle (number CG 13 AV 8050). The incident took place on the evening of August 14, when the reporter parked his trailer on the roadside in village Kathli and went to his house in village Ranbhantha to eat food. When he returned at around 09 pm, he saw that the battery and diesel of the trailer were missing. On this, a case was registered against the unknown accused in Pusaur police station under FIR No. 214/2024 Section 303(2) BNS and investigation was taken up.

Inspector Rohit Banjare, in-charge of Pusaur police station started investigation of the case. On the information of the informer, Nutan Yadav and Chandan Nishad of village Kathli were taken into custody and interrogated, in which they admitted to stealing 02 batteries and 20 liters of diesel from the trailer. 02 batteries and 20 liters of diesel have been recovered from the accused. The arrested accused include (1) Nutan Kumar Yadav father late Padma Lochan Yadav age 30 years resident of Pusaur, and (2) Chandan Nishad father late Chudamani Nishad age 24 years resident of Kathli. Both the accused have been duly arrested today on 20/09/2024 and sent on remand. Inspector Rohit Banjare, Assistant Sub-Inspector Manmohan Bairagi, Umashankar Vishal and constable Oceanik Vishal played an important role in the investigation of this case.
