The collector said that there is a good demand for Sambalpuri sarees in the market, here quality and many colorful and traditional designs of sarees are being prepared. The collector, while discussing with the weavers, said that proper market will be arranged for them. They will also be linked to online marketing. He said that the weavers should get direct benefit, not through any middlemen. Special efforts will be made for this. It is known that due to being adjacent to the state of Orissa, there is a special demand for Sambalpuri sarees in Chhattisgarh as well as in the entire country. Giving information about the government schemes run for the weavers, the collector asked them to join it. During this, the chairman of the Weavers Committee, Mr. Ramesh Dewangan also informed the collector about the problems and achievements of the weavers.

Thereafter, the collector inspected Swami Atmanand School located in Bhanwarpur. He inquired about cleanliness and teaching here. During this, he gave special instructions to the principal regarding cleanliness and also directed to issue a show cause notice to the teacher who went on leave without applying online.
