In CG, a drunk car driver dragged a young man riding a scooter
Bilaspur. Bilaspur. A case of negligence and speed of a drunk car driver has come to light in Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh late at night. A drunk car driver hit a scooty at Nehru Chowk. Two people were seriously injured in this accident. After this accident, the youth in the car kept dragging the scooty for 1 kilometer. After going a long way, people standing on the road saw the scooty stuck in the car and ran and stopped the car. Angry people caught both the youths in the car and beat them up. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the Civil Line Police reached the spot and took both the youths into custody and is interrogating them. According to the information received, last night at around 2 o’clock, a youth resident of Ashok Nagar Sarkanda was going to his house in his Activa vehicle whose number was CG 07 BD 2050 near Nehru Chowk under Civil Line Police Station area.
Then two youths in a white car number CG 10AX 9805 hit the Activa while driving the vehicle in an intoxicated state. Due to the collision, the young man fell on the other side of the road and his Activa got stuck in the front part of the car. Despite this, the car driver kept dragging the scooty for 1 kilometer. After this incident, the car driver Mahesh Kumar Kashyap, a resident of Ghuru, and his companion Ajay Kumar Manikpuri were running their car with the Activa stuck in the car from Nehru Chowk via Indira Setu towards the old Sarkanda bridge. On the other hand, the people standing on this road chased and stopped them after seeing the Activa stuck in the car. Where only the scooty was found stuck in the car. The local people, enraged by their action, beat both of them fiercely. On the other hand, as soon as the information of this incident was received, the Civil Line and Sarkanda police reached the spot and after pacifying the angry people, took the two accused youths into custody and are interrogating them.
