Ludhiana: Exhibition on the occasion of Organ Donation Day

Ludhiana: With an aim to promote the importance of organ donation, the Department of Nephrology, Urology and Kidney Transplant of Dayanand Medical College and Hospital organised an exhibition at the OPD block on the occasion of World Organ Donation Day. The aim of organising the exhibition was to educate the community about various aspects of organ donation.

Principal GS Wander said that medical advancements have made organ transplantation safer and more accessible. “Organ donation is not just a medical procedure but a ray of hope for patients and families. We must come together to support this cause and bridge the gap between demand and availability,” he said. Professor and Head of Department of Nephrology Dr Vikas Makkar was also present on the occasion.
