Chemical-laden truck catches fire in Dhenkanal highway

Dhenkanal: A truck transporting chemicals erupted in flames on Sunday morning near Ananda Nagar on National Highway -55 in Dhenkanal district. It is suspected that short circuit is the main reason behind the fire.

The truck was enroute Mumbai from Paradip in Odisha.

As per reports, the chemical laden truck all of a sudden caught fire near the diesel tank on its way to Mumbai. The locals and fire personnel reached the spot and doused the flame.

The driver of the truck managed to escape.
