Brijmohan Agarwal wrote a letter to the Union Health Minister to open the All India Speech Hearing Institute in Chhattisgarh

Raipur. Former Minister and MLA Brijmohan Agrawal Brijmohan Agrawal has written a letter to the Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukh Mandaviya urging him to set up an All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH) in Chhattisgarh. In his letter, Brijmohan said that Chhattisgarh is one of the fastest developing states in the country. Here for the purpose of education, health and business, thousands of people from the border states of the state like Vidarbha, Maharashtra, Telangana, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand keep coming.

Even today 75 percent of the state’s population lives below the poverty line. A large population has to struggle for education and health. Establishment of All India Speech Hearing Institute in Chhattisgarh is essential for the rehabilitation of mute and deaf children of economically weaker sections and to enable them to be able to read and write along with normal children. With the establishment of this institute, along with treatment, degree courses will also be conducted.
