9 BJP candidates filed nomination for assembly elections

He informed that the scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on March 28 and the last date for withdrawal of nominations is March 30. The counting of votes for the Assembly elections will take place on June 2 and the counting of votes for the Lok Sabha elections will take place on June 4 respectively. Lok Sabha and Assembly elections will be held simultaneously in the first phase on April 19 in the northeastern state. Arunachal Pradesh has two Lok Sabha seats and a 60-member assembly. The tenure of the current assembly is ending on June 2.
