70 Naxal violence affected people received appointment orders in various departments from Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai

Bijapur. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai made several important announcements for the development of the region along with announcing to increase the number of beds in Bijapur district hospital from 100 to 200. He also handed over government appointment orders to 70 dependents of Naxal-affected families under the Naxal rehabilitation policy and also distributed bonus amount of Rs 14 crore 9 lakh to more than 19 thousand tendu leaf collectors. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 209 development works costing more than Rs 263 crore 66 lakh. These include Bhoomi Pujan of 145 development works worth Rs 228 crore 53 lakh and inauguration of 64 development works worth Rs 35 crore 13 lakh. In the program, Chief Minister Sai announced the establishment of a nursing college in Bijapur, establishment of a 132 KV electrical substation in Bhopalpatnam, opening of 33 new schools, central library and linking specialist doctors with the National Health Mission. Also directed the collector to make arrangements for Prayas Residential School and coaching for competitive exams. CM Sai said in the program that development work is being accelerated in Bastar region. Through the Niyyad Nellnar scheme, the benefits of central and state government schemes are being given in the areas affected by Maoism-terror. He said that Chhattisgarh is full of natural, mineral, forest wealth and the residents here are also energetic. The people here are playing an important role in the development of the state.

In the program, Chief Minister Sai distributed Griha Pravesh (key distribution) and housing acceptance letter under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), Tendu Patta bonus, amount under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Kisan Credit Card, certificates to Niyyad Nellnar beneficiaries who received sewing training, Self Help Group Revolving Fund, Income, Caste-Residence Certificate and sports material to the youth.
