7 dead so far due to boat sinking in Mahanadi

Raigarh/Odisha. A boat capsized at Shardha Mahanadi Ghat in Rengali police station area of Odisha, bordering Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh. So far 7 people have died in the accident. There were about 70 people in the boat. The rest of the people aboard swam out.
Former Sarpanch of Kotarlia, Minketan Pradhan told that about 50 people had come from Kharsia to the house of Gangaram Lohar, resident of Kotarlia village of Raigarh. From where everyone was going to worship at Shardha Patharseni temple in pickup, marshal and car.
Meanwhile, while crossing the river near Pachgaon in Odisha, a boat filled with about 70 people suddenly overturned. Due to which there was chaos. Most of the people came out after swimming. So far 7 bodies have been recovered.
