60 sacks of illegal paddy were seized, action taken

Surajpur. The district administration is keeping a strict vigil on illegal paddy collection, transportation and sale. Concrete action is being taken against those who bring paddy from outside and sell it and do Kochiyagiri. Under this, 60 sacks of paddy have been seized in Bakirma today. 60 sacks of paddy were being taken by a farmer from Kochiya for sale to the Paddy Committee. In case of no satisfactory response after enquiry, the concerned officer confiscated the paddy and handed it over to Premnagar police station.
