5th Kalinga Global Film Festival (KGFF) 2024 to be held from December 13 to 15 in Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar: The 5th Kalinga Global Film Festival (KGFF) will be held from December 13 to December 15, 2024 in the capital city of Odisha.
The Chief Patron of KGFF is Dr Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT, KISS & KIMS.
The Film Festival is directed by Himansu Khatua, National award winning Film Director and former director of Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata. KGFF is presented by the School of Film and Media Sciences, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT).
The Film Festival will see screening of 45 Films. The films will be screened at the auditoriums at the Campus 6 and Campus 17 of KIIT. The Fest will take place at the Campus 6 and Campus 17 in the KIIT complex.
The inauguration ceremony of KGFF will be held at 5.30 PM on December 13. Dignitaries including Minister of Odia Language, Literature and Culture SJ Suryabanshi Suraj, Film producer Vipul Shah, Film Director Tushar Hiranandani, actor Bhusan Shashikant Pradhan and actress Rupali Sood will grace the inaugural ceremony.
The Closing Ceremony of KGFF will be held at 5.30 pm on 15th December 2024. Eminent actor Amit Sial is scheduled to become the Chief Guest while Bollywood writer Raaj Shaandilyaa will be the distinguished guest. Wildlife Filmmaker Subbiah Nallamuthu and Bollywood Film Director Tushar Hiranandani will be the Guests of Honour in this Closing Ceremony.
